Haiku Friday

Oh, dear little man
You captured my heart at birth
Filled an empty place

Interrupted nights
Many napless, cranky days
Erased by a grin

Now you crawl, babble
Eat anything with gusto
You are so loved

It is Haiku Friday, wanna play along??

Oh, boy! With crawling comes walking, then running. Get ready. And, start thinking about the Christmas tree. Nothing on the bottom third of it & nothing that breaks. Trust me! Lost a couple of good ones when our crawler got them.

Oh Toni, your haiku spoke volumes! They really do grow up fast and while they leave us sometimes sleepless and messy, they are soooooo worth it all. I gotta go change a poop now!! ;) Happy Haiku Friday

I loved your haiku! So true - the joys and challenges of a little one as well as the unconditional love of a mother :)

Those are awesome shots. He is a major cutie. :)

But I just love it when they start getting mobile. Except for when they are actually mobile, that is.
