Haiku Friday

Daylight Savings Time
Wreaks havoc on one and all
Spring ahead, Fall Back

Darkness earlier
The boy will be screwed up
Extra sleep? Not me.

It is Haiku Friday, wanna join in?

I know. I'm terrified. SD woke up at 5:45 current time today. If he decides to do that Sunday we are SCREWED! Not happy about this non extra hour.

Brilliant haiku! I've just finally gotten my kids to "sleep in." It will all be ruined with this time change. And no extra sleep here, either.

people, people. you'll like the "fall back" and extra hour a LOT more when your kids are teens! :-P

this is great. i am so with you. who invented this!? not a mom that's for sure.

we have been trying to push bedtime back by 10 minutes a day for the last two weeks. i'm already exhausted from that experiment!

DST = time for depression medication! Or, if I'm feeling positive, it means more time snuggling with hot cocoa by the fire in the evening. Either or.

:)

Great Haiku! I couldn't agree more - it screws everyone up for several weeks. See ya.

Ugh.. I was ignoring the whole thing until now. Thanks! ;)

Yeah.. thats one problem with 5 inmates.. adjusting ALL sleep schedules, no matter how far ahead you start is a pita.

I'm already sleepy. Ugh

Yeah, the thought of that "extra" hour has always made me laugh. Or cry.

Time change is old school.
Ben Franklin invented it
Let's start a boycott.

Funny! I love the Fall Back DST--makes it easier to convince my three year old that it's "still sleeping time!"
