Haiku-y Day!

Here's a question for
you: Do you use real or fake
eggs for hunting, hmmn?

We are fakers here
Eggs are filled with treasure
Little trinkets, junk

After church we eat
Grilled steak, baked potatoes, yum
Then watch kids hunt eggs

Hope you all have a
blessed weekend no matter what
you will be doing

Oh, fake, of course. Give a kid a real egg? Heck to the NO! Happy Easter to you guys!

Fake...I don't think my little ones are ready for real eggs:) I sent you a couple emails...did you get them? I have a great idea for you!

both. but we keep a very close count of how many of the real ones we hid. because while it's fun to find a candy filled treat 6 weeks later, the same can't be said for a hard boiled egg...

happy easter!

The Baby's not old enough yet, but when he is we'll definitely be hunting fake eggs. I wouldn't trust myself enough to remember where I hid them!

We used to do real eggs, but I can't face up to them this year.

Maybe when the baby is older. I just shuddered at the thought of dye, and Oliver.

Embarrassing confession, I actually bought pre-filled plastic eggs this year.

I just wasn't feeling the energy.

My in-laws do a massive egg hunt for all the grandkids and each egg is filled with money. Coins, mostly. The kids love it!
Growing up my mom would hide real eggs. :)
Happy Easter!

personally, i'd rather have candy-filled eggs. hard-boiled eggs? not so much.

Both...we dye eggs, hide them too...then we use fake filled with surprises..I cook a big ham with all the trimmings..yum..(although I can't eat any of it this year.sigh)

Now I'm in the mood for eggs. We always did real ;) Great 'ku!

We have always done real, because it is fun to dye them. My kids are still pretty little, so they aren't hidden very hard - easy to find.

Fake eggs of course...sorry though Toni dear...we'll be hunting them on the BEACH. So, your grandparents lived in Kitty Hawk? How cool. We stay in Hatteras in the same oceanfront house each year. Enjoy your kiddies this Easter!

Growing up I found both in the yard. But I prefer the fake - more of a surprise to find the egg and then find what's inside

I do both, actually. Some eggs hidden are real and others are fake with prizes!!

Hey Chicky, I sent you another email...did you get it?

Oh fake. We had an incident in 2005 where we lost one of the real eggs and found it a few days later. Guess how we found it...

Dang, I'm going to Melissa's house.

This will be our first year for a hunt (at our house). We decided enough with the traveling, we're staying home from now on.

I'll be using real eggs. My kids still have Halloween candy left.

We do both: candy in the morning and then the real deal later in the day with cousins.

Fake, the amount of eggs I would have to hide for my inamtes would equal out to be way to much money.

Great ku!

Happy Easter!!!!

We're not doing hunts here, but I always did plastic eggs as a kid. Very much fun, Easter egg hunts...
