I have the television on and am watching and singing along to the theme song when I realize that I have just sat through
The trouble? My KIDS ARE NOT WATCHING with me.
This mommy is in serious need of an adult play date, don't you think? Anyone else need a little kid-free time?

You thought you were uncool...I actually sing the Backyardigans theme song and analyze it as a perfect Major Scale. How sad is that. If I were still teaching, I would use it to teach a major scale to my elementary school kids. Only a true nerd mom would have figured that out.
I actually like the Backyardigans music...
I've done similar things in the car - listening to a kids cd and realizing later that the kids weren't in the car with me.
Oh well.
Actually between you and me, I don't mind Sesamee Street AT ALL.
*raises hand*
I'm in. See you at drink-thirty.
Oh ... this was so funny - you are sooooo funny!!!
Have a good day tomorrow - see you soon - Kellan
Yes! Yes! Yes! I need an adult playdate!
My husband will listen to XM kids without the kids in the car. That's pretty pathetic and sad as well.
crap I hate it when that happens. LOL! I need a playdate too.
I do that all the time! Glad I am not the only one! I also do it in the car, when driving alone I will be halfway to my destination before I realize that I am happily humming along to "Kid Hits Volume 3". I think we're still cool. :)
Oh, Toni...that is so funny! In our family, hubby and I catch ourselves watching and knowing/using lines from Spongebob Sqaurepants! LOL....
I am not ashamed to admit I like kiddo tv either!
First...I have no idea what the Backyardigans are...I can however sit through, and enjoy Super Why...So yes, we both need some adult time:)
LOL Yes been there done that, its
even worse singing along when the shows are not on
I've done that, uh, more than once. I've had days when I was home alone, and Aaron would come home, look at the TV, and then ask, "Have you been watching Noggin ALL day?"
Oops. Creature of habit, I guess.
